Ethan is a Virginia born composer with an extensive background in piano performance, composition, sound design/electronic synthesis, and production. In addition, Ethan has a mind for tech, and enjoys building custom midi gear as well as writing scripts and macros for lemur and keyboard maestro. Ethan is an alumni of Berklee College of Music, where he majored in Film Scoring and minored in Video Game Scoring. Ethan's experiences include internships at Remote Control Productions, Music and Motion Productions, the Beastie Boys’ Oscilloscope Laboratories, Jeff Russo’s MusicBox Productions, and at Warner Brothers with composer Fil Eisler. Although he is still a young composer, Ethan has a well developed and very mature sound. Ethan's biggest influences include Thomas Newman, Alexandre Desplat, James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, and Junkie XL.  

Aside from composition, Ethan has been playing piano for a total of 14 years, with a focus on jazz for 9 of those years.  Ethan's playing interests include bebop and blues, classical and romantic, and most recently, r&b and fusion. Ethan gigs with alt/jazz group Flamingo Club and r&b group Giant Queen.
